Use Your Mind For A Change...

By evolutionary luck of the draw, we are "of two minds." We have a cognitive mind that thinks about things and a somatic mind that does things. Much of the time, this strange arrangement works pretty well. Sometimes our wires get crossed. Fortunately, we have many ways to help these two minds communicate effectively. Hypnosis is one of these; there are many others.

Sigmund Freud was once asked what he would do if a client could not afford the expense or time to go through many, many sessions of psychoanalysis. Freud is said to have replied, "I would use hypnosis. It is perfectly safe and effective and works very quickly."
